Agoseris aurantiaca is a liguliferous species in the Asteraceae or sunflower family, and is commonly called orange agoseris or mountain dandelion. It is widespread and common in western North America from Alaska and western Canada southward to California, Arizona, and New Mexico. It also occurs disjunctly in the Chic-Choc (Gaspe Peninsula) and Otish Mountains (Laurentian Plateau) of Quebec.
