2017 Herping Goals

  1. Find and photograph an Eastern Indigo Snake
  2. Find a Canebrake Rattlesnake in north Florida
  3. Find Timber Rattlesnakes in Pennsylvania
  4. Find a Copperhead in Pennsylvania
  5. Find a Massasauga Rattlesnake in Michigan
  6. Find an adult Florida Pine Snake
  7. Find at least one Coral Snake
  8. Find an Eastern Hognose Snake
  9. Find a South Florida Mole Kingsnake (impossible? probably)
  10. Find more than 31 snakes in one outing.
  11. Find more than 3 Eastern Diamondback Rattlesnakes outside of ENP
  12. Take more photographs of snakes "in habitat"

2016 Goals

  • Find all four venomous snake species in south Florida (Eastern Diamondback Rattlesnake and Florida Cottonmouth found already - still need Dusky Pygmy Rattlesnake and Eastern Coral Snake)
  • Find several Corn Snakes (should be an easy goal)
  • Find a Scarlet Kingsnake
  • Get a good photo of an American Crocodile
  • Find a Fox Snake and Eastern Massasauga with @marknenadov in June
  • Find a Canebrake Rattlesnake in north Florida
  • Find more than 20 snakes in one outing
  • Find more than 4 snake species in one outing
  • Find an Eastern Indigo Snake
  • Find a Brooks Kingsnake that's not in shed
  • Shoot a photo of a Rattlesnake in mid-strike (a long shot, I know)
