What
Wood Frog (Lithobates sylvaticus)Observer
angryssharkDescription
On iNaturalist, 6 species of frogs and toads have been spotted in Fundy and this looks like none of them. Could possibly be a spring peeper but those have patterns on their back and this doesn't. Maybe a very young spring peeper?
It and several other frogs were in and around a deep, clear pool just past the first brook crossing on Tracey Lake trail.
What
Canadian Tiger Swallowtail (Papilio canadensis)Observer
angryssharkDescription
3 of them on a dead bird on the upper salmon river trail right after you cross the river coming from the headquarters. Could be Papilio Canadensis but I'm not able to tell. Was on the east side of the river but that isn't in the park according to google maps and I wanted to make sure it would go into the Fundy National Park project.

The picture quality is really poor unfortunately.

What
Coyote (Canis latrans)Observer
angryssharkDescription
Towards the right of the picture, at water's edge.
Very large coyote, described by a park interpreter who saw this picture as being the size of an adult german shepherd. It looked at me constantly and started barking loudly. I could still hear the barking when I was near the parking lot. A park employee speculated that it might have been an eastern coyote, which are larger than normal coyotes and possibly bred with wolves in the past.
