What
Segmented Worms (Phylum Annelida)Observer
claasdamkenDescription
I have various specimens of different invertebrate orders for which I struggle to determine whether they are aquatic and utilise the artificial water holes or if they ended up in the water body by accident. Pretty much all specimens were found dead and some partly decomposed, which doesn't really speak for an aquatic lifestyle.
This specimen is part of the MicroCosm study
Any chance it could be identified to a lower level and maybe, is it possible to say if this is an aquatic species? It was the only specimen of all species found alive inside the water holes
