What
Butterfly Bush (Buddleja davidii)Observer
elsemikkelsenDescription
I lost this one, a relatively new invasive on Keats but the bushes have become very established on this unstable slope that I can’t access. Well, at least the butterflies will be happy.

What
Whitebark Raspberry (Rubus leucodermis)Observer
elsemikkelsenDescription
A rare thicket in full sun that isn’t being consumed by blackberries. The raspberry bushes get more plentiful here each year

What
Himalayan Blackberry (Rubus bifrons)Observer
elsemikkelsenDescription
Not ideal for ID without fresh floricanes, but I felt 80% confident ruling out Rubus vestitus. The old floricane was dried but I saw no stipitate glands within the inflorescence under high magnification. I felt the leaf shape also averaged a bit too pointy and the thickest primocanes looked a bit too thick.
