Plasmodium white or pink. Sporocarpous and/or plasmodiocarpous, dispersed or in small groups, sessile or sub-sessile on a small base, spherical, pulvinate or terete, 0.2-1.0 mm diam. and up to a few mm long, opalescent rosy-lilac when fresh, changing to beige or iridescent yellow, green or blue-green. Peridium single, thin and translucent, pale ochraceous and either smooth or minutely punctate by TL. Dehiscence irregular. Capillitial threads 0.5-1.0 µm diam., very long, tangled and looped, with few connections to the peridium, threads protruding elastically and covered with small, ± spirally-arranged spinules or wartlets (oil-immersion). Spores rosy when fresh then beige, yellowish or colourless, 9-12 µm diam., covered with small spines or warts.

Description

Sporocarps 250-500 µm tall, white or sometimes pink when fresh, white or pinkish when dry. Stalk 180-400 µm long, the basal part expanded and filled with granular matter, tapered to 1.5-3 µm diam. at the apex. Sporotheca 40-70 µm diam. Columella 3-10(-15) µm long. Capillitium a delicate, freely branching system arising mainly from the columella tip with numerous pointed free ends, branched but rarely anastomosed. Peridium remaining as a 4-9 µm diam. collar at the base of the sporotheca. Spore-mass white or pink. Spores hyaline, globose, 6-8(-10) µm diam., minutely roughened, bearing obscure spore-to-spore articular pads. Typically two spores adhere to the base of the columella.

Description

Plasmodium watery white. Sporocarps scattered, stipitate, 0.6-1 mm tall. Stalk black and shining by reflected light, fibrous and reddish brown at base by TL, c. 60-65% of the total height, 48-132 µm wide at the base, 8-16 µm diam. at the apex. Sporotheca globose, 0.24-0.40 mm diam., dark brown. Columella c. 50-66% of sporotheca height. Capillitium dark, flexuose, arising from all parts of the columella, branched and anastomosed to form a surface reticulum with no or few free ends. Spore-mass dark coppery brown. Spores violaceous brown, very faintly warted to nearly smooth and having a paler and smoother area on one side, 7-10.5 µm diam.

Description

Plasmodium pale yellow at maturity. Hypothallus inconspicuous or absent. Sporocarpous or plasmodiocarpous, gregarious to scattered, sessile. Sporotheca (0.25-)0.3-0.4(-0.55) mm wide, up to 1.5 cm long, ochraceous yellow, reddish brown, chestnut-brown or black. Peridium double, the outer layer cartilaginous and with included matter, the inner pale yellow, membranous, either smooth or faintly roughened within. Dehiscence irregular. Capillitium forming a lax reticulum of pale yellow threads, 2-3 µm diam., with scattered delicate or stout and often curved spines up to 6 µm long or densely covered with spines less than 2 µm long, rarely almost smooth, sometimes with a few rounded free ends and intercalary or axillary swellings. Spore-mass bright yellow. Spores pale yellow, varying from faintly roughened to distinctly warted or minutely spinulose, globose or subglobose, (8-)9-11(-12) µm diam.

Description

Plasmodium white. Sporocarps dispersed or solitary, 0.6-1.5 mm tall. Hypothallus dark brown, very small, discoid. Stalk 2-2.5 times the sporotheca diam., grooved, dark brown, containing refuse matter, dark by TL. Sporotheca spherical or obovate, c. 0.3 mm diam., yellow-brown, grey or purple, often with some thin pale bands. Peridium shiny, double, the outer layer locally thickened with refuse matter and thick except on the paler bands where the contents of the sporotheca show through, the inner membranous, thin, dehiscing along the pale bands. Elaters unbranched, c. 4 µm diam., sometimes with swellings, gradually tapered into 30-40 µm long points. Spores 9-12 µm diam., covered with c. 0.5 µm high warts which are wider at the top and form a border in optical section.

Description

Sporocarps salmon-pink, grouped on a common thin membranous hypothallus. Calyculus small, shallow funnel-shaped, smooth or densely decorated with large rounded or elongated warts especially near the rim and which are partly united to form a broken net with irregular meshes. Capillitium 3-5 µm diam., with large meshes and few free ends, attached to the calyculus, expanding 1.5 times the original size, densely decorated with spines, half-rings, reticulations and warts, sometimes with bifid tips and up to 1.5 µm high, the basal threads almost smooth. Spore-mass salmon-pink. Spores (6-)8-10(-12) µm diam.
