I am a biologist and I work for The Xerces Society for Invertebrate Conservation. I'm based in California, where my work focuses on pollinator conservation. Prior to joining Xerces, I spent over 20 years studying the role of invertebrates (especially grasshoppers and wolf spiders) in grassland ecosystems throughout the continental United States.
