I'm a biologist that was trained in Leiden (Netherlands). As a small part of the training I did a review of the tropical plant genus Leptonychia in SE Asia. I am an active editor of Wikipedia, particularly on fossils (trilobites), birds and plants. I also like to make photos of plants and animals and post those mostly on Wiki commons. I work for the NL Ministry of Environment, used to be responsible for the scientific underpinning of climate policy, and now for the safe use of chemical sustances.
