The Howe Sound Science Bioblitz brings together marine experts to document the biodiversity of the coastal environment of Howe Sound, British Columbia. A number of marine taxonomists will conduct subtidal and intertidal surveys during the week of July 20th - August 12 and upload the information to iNaturalist. Starting at 1pm on August 12, a dozen scientists from the Howe Sound Science Bioblitz will join the Flagship Bioblitz at Lumberman’s Arch in Stanley Park to meet with the public and share notable findings from their biodiversity surveys throughout the week.

Le Bioblitz Howe Sound Science rassemble des experts du milieu marin pour consigner la biodiversité du milieu côtier de la baie Howe en Colombie-Britannique. Les membres du public qui veulent en savoir davantage sur la méthode d’évaluation REEF peuvent se joindre à eux dans le cadre d’une expédition à la baie Howe Sound pour soutenir le Bioblitz. À partir de 13 h le 12 août, une dizaine de chercheurs du Bioblitz scientifique de la baie Howe se joindront au Bioblitz phare à l’arche Lumberman dans le parc Stanley pour rencontrer les membres du public et faire part de leurs découvertes importantes durant la semaine d’évaluation de la biodiversité. less ↑
