Anamorph also present, tapered-clavate.

Forming stellate clusters of rimmed "suction cups". Pinkish, with darker purple rims that overhang the central flat surface.

Cap 2-7 mm across, hemispheric to broadly convex. Medium to light grayish with faint tan to brown tones. Deeply translucent-striate to gray-brown central disc.

Gills whitish, fairly broadly spaced.

Stipe 3-10 mm tall, 0.5-1 mm thick. Whitish, slightly curved, more ore less cylindrical but with enlarged base rimmed in white. Lower 1/4 with tiny, fine whitish contrasting chevrons or lines of tufted cells.

Fruiting in troops and clusters on Nothofagus w/ Ascocoryne, Flammulaster

Cap 33-67 mm wide. Convex to broadly convex to plane with very broad, low round umbo. Margin weakly lobed, sometiems slightly incurved. Surface smooth to rugose-rivulose /radially wrinkled, esp. in age. Extremely viscid, some fruitbodies drying to merely very most-slick in age. Brownish with olive-mustard tones when young, developing ochre-brown areas. Strongly hygrophanous, becoming dingy beige-yellow outwards from disc. Margin appendiculate, with small triangular hanging teeth of tufted partial veil fibrils.

Gills finely attached to sinuate. Dingy grayish to dull medium brownish in age. Close, edges even.

Stipe 40-75 x 4-15 mm thick. Straight, cylindrical, rather stout, firm. Light beige to whitish near apex. Entire surface dry, covered in tufted light brownish fibrils.

Partial veil superior or sometimes more median, a dense band of fibrils adhering in a pointed-edged annulus.

Flesh solid, whitish-gray, slightly marbled.

In a large troop in moss under Nothofagus.

Cap 6-19 mm wide, hemispheric, round-convex or slightly truncate-convex, becoming broadly convex with a diffuse, low, broad umbo, more plane at maturity. Margin obscurely translucent-striate. Dark brown, with some traces of yellower tones at extreme margin. Some fine silvery-virgate fibrils near center of cap.

Gills somewhat thick-edged, fairly close to subdistant, dingy pallid grayish to dull brown.

Stipe 35-50 mm x 2-5 mm. Straight or slightly sinuous, more or less cylindrical with lower part slightly enlarged. Brownish muddled with variably extensive lilac tones, surface covered in silvery fibrils arranged vertically. Base with strong purplish-bluish tones showing through where fibrils rubbed away.

Odor indistinct.

Taste indistinct.

KOH trivial darkening. UV reaction nil.

Under Nothofagus.

Surface with tiny fine golden fibrils accumulated into fine tufts."Peridium" 1 mm thick.
No odor. No taste, no KOH rxn. No bruising or staining reactions. Partially hidden under Nothofagus leaf litter.
Fruitbody 50 mm tall x 32 mm wide, base of columella enlarged to 21 mm wide.
Columella percurrent, 5 mm wide at midpoint.
