I think there is an error in the name of this species. It should be Helicostyla smaragdina (Reeve, 1842). H. smargadina is a wrong name, which has spread through some databases. EOL provides both names, Wikipedia too.
It is a green snail. The logic is that the scientific name is smaragdina (Similar to emerald). Smargadina not mean anything.
