I went out to take my dogs for an afternoon walk when I stumbled upon this little guy who may have been hit by a car as I was able to pick him up and move him to the side of the street and also observed some blood on the top of his head. He had a very beautiful burnt-orange throat and belly with a dark lack band separating this two. Note:he ended up flying into a tree so I think he'll be ok

Satu satunya primata jawa yang hidup di malam hari (nokturnal), yang pasti dia aktif melakukan aktivitas nya malam hari dari terbenam nya matahari hingga terbitnya matahari.

Sungguh miris primata kecil yang lucu nan imut ini, berstatus CR (Critical endangered) merupakan satu langkah lagi menuju kepunahan di alam liar yaitu EW (Extinct in the wild). Semoga tidak terjadi,
Penyebab statusnya yang sangat terancam punah disebabkan karena diburu untuk diperdagangkan sebagai hewan peliharaan selain itu ada juga sebagai kepercayaan tradisional bahkan menjadi obat-obatan rakyat.

Love these odes. A first at home and for the county. Showed up in front of the barn on a very foggy morning. There are lakes around that likely host this species and possibly they are checking out our pond. Wouldn't that be nice, if they decided to move in? :)

Braving the frozen tundra that is just outside my window... Anything for peanuts! At least the feeders are full and there is plenty to go around!

I have a 100 gallon tub of water near my house so wildlife can drink. Just as it was getting dark a short while ago something caught my eye and this small White-tailed buck came to drink. Somehow this fella got a plastic jug caught up in his velvet antlers...I hope he can get it off. I had to chuckle at this sight, however, something I had certainly never seen before. Anyway, he drank some water then trotted away. Hope he will be OK!
