Description
Berry. Red seeds fall off easily. The inside is full of water base. Yellow flowers (not pictured). Found by the tree area by my apartment.
Edible but flavorless. Leaves can also be eaten.

Description
Growing wild in typical mixed Balcones canyonland forest. Interestingly, the blooms are mostly at or near the interface between the leaf litter and the soil — I had to gently move some leaves to expose this bloom all the way.

Description
A Zizotes milkweed with buds. A neighbor put a yellow flag next to the plant to find it. It hosts a healthy population of yellow aphids and lady beetle nymphs.
