iNat and Leps both suggested Battaristis nigratomella, but that doesn't match to me.

Description
I find that side-by-side comparison of moths shown at the same scale with a calibrated, neutral background can be immensely helpful for their identification. I hope I got these 7 species of genus Lithophane right. The same (and more) specimens can be seen as live moths at https://www.inaturalist.org/observations?verifiable=any&taxon_id=143353&place_id=14&preferred_place_id=1&locale=en&user_id=naturecandids.
All specimens collected in Northern California (Lake, Napa, and Placer counties) in 2020-2022. Leg. and phot. V. Heinrich.
(1) Lithophane dilatocula
(2) Lithophane gausapata
(3) Lithophane georgii
(4) Lithophane subtilis
(5) Lithophane contenta
(6) Lithophane tephrina
(7) Lithophane pertorrida

Description
Beautiful stowaway picked up while bushwhacking across what used to be a trail. Unfortunately no idea which shrub I knocked it out of but apparently ticks lived there too. 😖 Tried to gently put back into the chaparral. Hope it made it to a good plant.
