American Marten (Martes americana)Observer

We heard nuthatches and some other unidentified alarm calls (possibly red squirrels) which alerted us to something going on. What a surprise when this Marten came into view! We watched it for a few minutes. Although it was clearly keeping an eye on us, it didn't seem too perturbed by our presence. We left it to keep hunting--nuthatch fledgelings and squirrels?
