Description
It was a very beautiful reflective-looking blue. It looked more like glitter than a living thing.
I could not tell if it was turning off a light or if it was rotating and the sunlight was no longer hitting it. Very small but very obvious.

First python of the year.
I received a call around 6 saying that a python had turned up on the Ocean Reef golf course and that it had avoided capture and slithered into some ornamental shrubbery. We arrived shortly after we couldn't find the animal. About half an hour later we got a call saying that some members found the snake and that it was back on the golf course. This time, we caught it!

Posted these same plants in 4/2020 - they are approximately 3 ft tall. have been through the 20 degree nights at Christmas 2022. I wanted to see if the cold knocked them back . Only the foliage has been bit. The cambium is still green they have established the distinct mangrove roots and appear to be thriving just west of Evan’s Creek in Levy Bay

I had observed one Choreutis emplecta in Boynton a month ago and today after returning to the site, I saw seven! In my opinion this is conclusive proof that it is now a new breeding invasive species in Palm Beach County. I listed it as Choreutis emplecta instead of sexfasciella as I've heard that soon both names will be synonymous.
