This Hawaiian Silversword was found in the Haleakala National Park. Located in altitude, about 9000 feet, dry environment, full of volcanic rocks. I saw several of these plant throughout the hikes and no other plant. The plant has a silver spiky base and this one was in full bloom, we can see the tall stalk of flowers. The height of the plant was about 4 feet tall.
