During whale migration season we saw around 15 whales on this 2 hour whale watching tour from Coffs Harbour.
Two in particular were swimming together and putting on a real show... Regularly breaching, diving (fluke coming out of the water) etc. The tour guide was amazed to see them breach so many times (at least fifteen that we observed)..
We did it with Whale Watch Experience. She said she has many years of notes of observations about their behaviour, so if anyone is interested in citizen science notes, perhaps you can try and get in contact with her.
