Description
Lizard survey led by Mr Knox. South Westland. Rock fields at about 1000m asl. 4 individuals shown, including a neonate which had a SVL of 31mm.

Description
FLECKS et al. (2012) separated the Vanuatu populations as G. georgpotthasti; hence G. vorax does not occur on Vanuatu and the Loyalty Islands. In fact, FLECKS et al. restrict G. vorax to the populations on Fiji and Tonga.

Description
Orange Spotted Gecko. 3 individuals shown. Tracking card showing footprints. Also a photo of faeces deposited by the orange female upon capture. She was unusually large with an SVL of 93mm. The faeces appeared to contain the remains of a weta. Assisting Mr Knox in a herp survey.

Description
I saw this young Korero Gecko feeding on moths on our house wall. I noticed under the UV moth light that the tip of its head and mouth exhibited biofluorescence. Wavelength 395-400nm. Something to explore further.

Description
Latin for “unexpected” Phelsuma inexpectata was discovered in 1966 in a small village called Manapany. Unfortunately, falling under the IUCN Red-List criteria of occupying an extent of occurrence under 100 km² Phelsuma inexpectata qualifies as critically endangered but is not officially recognized.
