Description

Here we have another bean family member, which is endemic to the state of Nuevo León, although is know to be used as ornamental in Texas, it only grows on the northern mountains of the state, being collected only from three localities!, it grow along creeks or dry wahses coming down the mountains.

I would like to thanks PhD Jose Angel Villarreal Quintanilla, in the Universidad Autónoma Agraria Antonio Narro, for his help on the id of this species; also PhD Saul Lozano Fuentes at Colorado State University for providing the original manuscript of this species description.
