Pink family. United sepals, 3 style, 3 locular ovule (at base; see photos 3 and 4). Silene. Growing in a large mat of many individuals stems. Sepals measured at 10-12 mm. Sepals are both green and purple (so that throws off the Cody and hulten keys a bit). Since the petals are short it is likely not S. repens. The veins on sepals are not distinct so not S. douglasii. Based on calyx length, my guess is S. williamsii.
