Glabrous surface
Leaves are opposite with smooth margins. Leaves are evergreen and appear glaucus underneath. Leaves are elliptic in shape
Bipinnately compound leafs, one foot long. Secondary leaflets are stocking shaped. Tree is 10’ tall and falling over from flooding.
Very rough leaf and stem surface
Found growing on side of road, spread towards sunlight on the ground, opposite leaves with very short petioles, rounded asymmetrical leaves with a fine point at the end, throne found throughout stem, stems are green and thick
I think it’s a taeda but correct me if I’m wrong!! 3 needles per fascicle, about six or seven inch needles
3 lobed flower, small and alternate leaf arrangement, the leafs have no petioles (sessile)
