This organism has a darker green circular pad that is approximately 7-10cm in height and 5-6cm wide. The texture of the pad was waxy and contained approximately 35 areoles per pad. These areoles are covered in spines that vary in shape and size. The spines (also known as their leaves) are mostly white but some red ones can be seen at the top as well. These spines range from 0.5-7cm in length and are clustered in groups attached to the areoles. The number of spines per areoles varies. No flowers were observed on this organism. This organism was found on a downhill slope located behind Lot N on September 25, 2016 at 12:50 PM. The weather was mostly sunny and there was little trade of wind. The temperature was 19 degrees Celsius
