Description

This was spider had a brown body with a white/tan stripe down the center from head to thorax. The diameter of the legs was approximately 2 in. Eight legs are clearly seen. The spider was spotted in the open forest floor, about fifteen feet from a small creek, which was an off shoot of the Hillsborough river. Possibly a wolf spider, they range all over the world.
