I was just racking my brain on understanding these species and looked at lots of images, drew some diagrams, and then found out you came to the exact same conclusion (but way before me). Very clear! The underside appears really helpful as well with the hindwing white band either broken up in spio, and having a different angle at the costal end in the two others?.
