Hummingbirds in March in the Kaibab NF
March 28, 2018 - I have a hummingbird (not ID'd yet) visiting a feeder. This is the second one I have seen this month - the earliest I have seen them in our yard in the past 3 years. I assume they are migrating through, and that these are not the usual broad-tailed hummers that usually arrive the end of April through the first week of May. I put up the feeder when I saw the first one about 2 weeks ago when he buzzed my head out on one of our porches. I had noted two days ago that the liquid was going down, so I must have someone coming and feeding. Today I saw him twice in the morning. Will try to get a photo and ID him ASAP.
