Dark green on the top surface, and pale green underneath, densely clad in palea c. 2 cm. on the underside mid rib. Stipes stout densely paleate 14-45 cm. x 5-10 mm. dark brown.

Prostrate shrub, with close set leaves, spirally arranged. Leaves rigid, coriac, with thickened margins. Seeds solitary ovoid, 3.5-5.5 mm. long, on top of a red, false fruit.

Flowers axillary in terminal racemes. Calyx campanulate, 4-lobed. Upper lip concave, short 2-lobed, lower lip 3-lobed, spreading. Leaves succulent, green to purplish at the apex, hispid.

Fleshy, glabrous, summer-green, perennial herb c. 30 cm. tall when flowering. Stem erect. Racemes 5-20 flowered. Perianth green, reddish-green, yellow-green.

Yellow green on the surface and covered in white tomentum underneath, with visible parallel venation. Hairs also visible on the margins.

Found next to an alpine creek. Leaves glabrous, succulent, dark green on the upper surface, and lighter green underneath with dark green venation.
Leaf petioles sheathed, glabrous and succulent.

Bushy greyish shrub with wide-angled, interlacing branches, bearing wrinkled, narrow, rolled leaves that have tomentum underneath. Leaves 5-12 x 0.5-2 mm. Found in wetland area. Achenes with pappus.

Cushion up to c. 10 cm. tall, more mat-like. Leaves c. 4 mm. long, thick, coriac, glossy, green, appressed, very closely imbricate. Corolla-lobes white, spreading, ovate-oblong, anthers purplish.
