• Pair of harvestmen found together.
• Location: On the vertical surface of a tree trunk approximately 1.2m above the ground in a forest alongside a stream.
• When disturbed the two harvestmen moved around the tree trunk together as a pair.
• One of the specimens had a large swollen abdomen. The ventral surface of the opisthosoma was white. The other specimen was much smaller with no white visible on the ventral surface.
• White also at the base of the legs in both specimens.
• Possibly a male/female pair?

• In what appear to be mature colonies the pitted surface is a cream colour.

• They were relatively slow moving and did not sting or attack when the branch was opened up.

Specimen over damp rotten log, dead leaves, grass and sticks.
Size of specimen photographed approximately 40cm by 25cm. Other specimens in the area smaller than this and varying in size.
Could this perhaps be Fuligo septica or Physarum polycephalum?
