House Mouse (Mus musculus)Observer
araubDescription
After only a night of setting the mammal tunnel and there is signs of mammal. The footprint pad was stepped all over, mid section of the pad eaten up and it was quite hard to tell whether its a rat or a mice. But i am convinced after a closer look that it is house mouse who have visited the tunnel. May be both rat and mice fighting over the bait. There is also droppings on the pad to help identify which it belongs. From the dropping, there appears to be two different droppings: one with pointed ends and one with rounded ends. One with rounded ends from Norweiian rat and one with pointed end from house mouse or roof mouse. Would appreciate correction.
