Pulled up yellowing bean plant to find these in root area. Larger slow moving blobs that I initially thought were fungi and also smaller more active aphid like creatures. Clock the ant 'farming' them.

Caterpillar/ larvae found inside leaf 'envelope' i.e. between lower epidermis and upper epidermis in borage leaves in garden. Over 26 leaves affected on newly bought and planted borage plant after careful inspection. Damage mostly not visible from above, need to look on underside of leaf to see infestation. Last pic is new leaf I have opened up from underleaf, (with $1 coin as scale) which has 3 much smaller larvae. It's mid spring here. This reminds me of 'in-leaf comfrey infestation mid-late summer (feel free to tell me correct terminology because my Google searches aren't getting me anywhere).

Seagrass dying? Can anyone tell me if this is normal?
Die off in 1960s at nearby sea grass meadows (Okahu Bay etc) thought to have been caused by slime mould Labyrinthula (see Armiger, 1964: "serveral distinct brown patches...observed to enlarge by peripheral spread...checked by the onset of winter...following summer resumed their extension towards the centre of the bay...grass orginally affected...mostly decomposed entirely, leaving the substratum bare.")
I see an observation 20 Dec 2017 (Zostera muelleri) at St Heliers also looks dark brown - but I don't think this is a seasonal change...
