Perennial Scabious (Lomelosia caucasica)Observer
buddman7Description
I was walking with my friends when I saw a vibrantly purple flower. It seemed so unique to us. I really liked how the centre was lighter and the further down the pedals it turned deeper purple. If someone could ID this flower I'd really want to know what kind it actually is because purple is my favourite colour.
What
Blinded Sphinx (Paonias excaecata)Observer
buddman7Description
This moth had a cool pattern on the topside of its wings. It didn't seem too bothered that I was near it. It was also quite large so it must have been an adult moth.
What
Genus CepaeaObserver
buddman7Description
Found this snail hanging out on a tree. It had a distinct yellow colour that caught my attention. He was sitting on a branch and slowly moving his way along. I'm not sure exactly what kind he was so if that could be ID'd I'd like to know. The snail was probably the size of a quarter.
What
White-tailed Deer (Odocoileus virginianus)Observer
buddman7Description
Saw this deer jumping through my backyard. I tried to get closer to take a nicer picture but it looked up at me and ran away. It had light brown fur with a brown tail but with white fur on the underside. It seemed to be a young deer due to it's size.
What
Fly Agaric (Amanita muscaria)Observer
buddman7Description
I found this when hiking in Whistler, B.C. It was right next to the hiking path. I am pretty sure it is a type of Gilled Mushroom but not positive to which family it belongs to. It is a very colourful and unique looking mushroom.
What
Largemouth Bass (Micropterus nigricans)Observer
buddman7Description
We caught this fish while fishing from a rowboat on the lake. I believe it to be a Largemouth Bass but I am not positive. If someone could ID it that'd be great.
What
Blue Jay (Cyanocitta cristata)Observer
buddman7Description
I found this Blue Jay in my backyard. It seemed to be an adult Blue Jay based on it's size. I looked for about half an hour for it's nest nearby but I couldn't find it. It's a very pretty bird and the blue catches your eye.
What
North American Deer Mice (Genus Peromyscus)Observer
buddman7Description
In this picture you can see a common house mouse. For size reference, the thing it is standing on is a sink strainer. The mouse was probably about the size of a computer mouse (Ironically).

What
Upright Yellow Woodsorrel (Oxalis stricta)Observer
buddman7Description
This plant seems to be a Three-Leafed Clover. Although it had no flower part to it like it does in the ID picture. This clover plant seemed bigger than the usual ones I have seen around. You can view it's size relative to my house keys in the second picture.
