Abundance: thousands. All over silt surface in 3ft of water. Trails up to 1 m long. Some individuals were 'upright' (i.e., long axis was vertical) and not in motion (i.e., not leaving a trail).
Local (Lower Tanana, Minto dialect) name is probably: xałtth'oga' (from thh'ok = dish; J. Kari. 2020. Lower Tanana Dene Disctionary).
