Description

Eel caught on a line attempted to free itself by trying itself in knots, both in the water and on the jetty. I removed a shoe and the eel bit onto the toe of the shoe enabling use to remove the line and to lift the eel over the edge of the jetty. When the eel let go, it fell back into the water. In length, the eel was probably just about 1.3 m long.
