We used to have a plum and a cherry tree sapling, which were taken. Some seeds could have fallen and sprouted though. We didn’t have apple trees there. I guess wait and see?

A few years ago there was a small plum and a small cherry tree near there, but it was pulled up. Perhaps a single seed or a root from the rootstock survived? Neither was directly in this spot.
