davidbadkeDescription

Layered Cup (Peziza varia)Observer
davidbadkeDescription
On the base of a large (live) aspen tree trunk in shade.
iNaturalist Seek identified this as Peziza repanda, but iNaturalist does not seem to allow that name, substituting Peziza varia. This leaves me unsure which species it really is. Has the species name "Peziza repanda" been inactivated?
