Large tree just coming into flower, common in west Mexico, Know locally as primavera trees, they bloom before the onset of the rainy season.

Flowering vine draped on trees and bushes. The flower stalk shown is 20 cm tall. This is just at the end of the dry season, and there were few leaves on the vines.

Large epiphyte, over 1 m from insertion to dangling base. I suspect it is a bromeliad. Found at about 900 m elevation on the northern wet side of Cabo Corrientes, Jalisco, MX

Long-tailed lizard, about 40cm, with a striped back, and orange-ish head and another white stripe on the side of its face.

Pink flowering plants appeared after the onset of rains in sandy soil. Flowers are about 20 cm across. Leaves are fleshy and resemble those of certain orchids. Appears lily-like.
