Appears to be a pure white Dakota Mock Vervain? It is growing in the middle of a patch of normally-colored Dakota Mock Vervain and can be seen at the top of Photo #3. In the 17-year history of this little patch of naturally occurring wildflowers, I've never seen a white one before.

White-winged Dove (Zenaida asiatica)Observer

Banded dove. I can mostly make out the numeral 3 and 8 on this dove's band.
Per @centratex, this dove was banded at this location as follows:
"This bird has band number 1154-06838. It was an after hatch year (AHY) bird banded on August 5th, 2020."
Prior to today (Feb 18, 2024) I had not seen any banded doves at this location in about 5 months. Doves, yes, just none with bands.
