Found this little guy dead on my porch. Passed it up bc I thought it was a worm (there’s been rain/humidity), a little later it was still there in the same exact position. Looked closer and realized it was not a worm and that it’s dead. Is there a way for me to preserve this as specimen? Any assistance is appreciated!

I know it’s a terrible picture, sorry! But I’m curious, hoping someone might be able to recognize it! There were TONS and they were flocking in these swirling formations for minutes on end before roosting. Black and pretty small, best guess is something like a cowbird
