Smaller (10-15 mm length) two are G. marginatus. The larger individual is G. atlanticus. Many of both species washed up after storm.

One of the offspring of mating pair described in previous observation (12 April 2020). Still hanging around near empty egg cases.

Description

Female (top) and male found together presumably after mating. Female length about 45mm head to wing tip.
Two strings of eggs laid nearby. Hatched after about a week. Caterpillars ate most of the egg cases then dispersed after about 2 days.
