Bright green with almost iridescent blue tail. Maybe 18 inches head to tail. They seem to be increasing in number in my backyard over the last couple years. Clearly invasive?

Ok. Need help. Had to take this tree down in my front yard - was slowly dying over the last couple years. Westchester neighborhood in Miami. House built in 1962, back when this area was probably "wilderness." I've owned it for 5 years.
What is the species? I've never seen fruit/seeds on the tree. None others like it in the neighborhood. Wood is very heavy and hard, although easy to cut.
2) How old is it?? I've included a couple higher resolution photos after sanding one of the logs. Depending on what I count as a ring, I can wind up well over 100 years old, which wouldn't seem to make sense if the tree is exotic - who would have planted it out here in the Everglades at the turn of the century.

Assuming this is some kind of tree frog, by far and away the biggest I’ve ever seen. As big as my closed fist. And thick. That’s a 8” water main he jumped on from a bush when my son tried to catch him.

My son picked up an egg and said “Daddy look at this!” As I was looking it no joke started to hatch. Live, healthy baby green lizard. The photo is about 30 seconds after it was out of the eggs. Within a minute it jumped off my son’s hand. Pretty thrilling for both of us.
