Silver-haired Bat (Lasionycteris noctivagans)Observer

Grounded Silver-Haired Bat, Female. Fell out of a redwood tree and pecked at by a scrub jay at 26th and K in Sacramento. NorCal Bats was called by the finder. She was given a wellness check, water, and mealworms before being released after dark. This species is usually found at higher elevations. It is presumed to have been passing through Sacramento on migration.
