Description

Anthurium schlechtontroli was found from Mexico to Costa Rica. This is a large herbaceous plant with dark green leaves, emerging from a group of roots like white ropes and their flowers are dark purple (fibrous). These have fruit and when ripe they have an appearance similar to small red fruits. They tend to live in wet forests, rocky slopes or outcrops in trees.

Anthurium schlechtenalii has a long, slender and brown (which has a pencil-like structure) that emerges from a base that is about 70 cm long. It has a brown bulge on the spadix which is considered a fruit that develops many small flowers. The Anthurium genus has about 500 species, some used as medicinal species while others are used as ornaments. The name Anthurium comes from the classical Greek which translates to 'flower tail.' This species originates from Peru, Mexico, Bolivia, and Brazil.

Madagascar Periwinkle is an annual shrub that originated in Madagascar, but has spread to various other tropical regions. The scientific name is Catharanthus roseus (L.) Don. In Indonesia, the yard is known by various names, such as the so-called Sindapor (Sulawesi), copper flower (Sundanese), and dårå tread flower (Javanese). Malaysians also know him as Chinese kemunting, bitch grass staple, Chinese flower staple, or beach ros staple. In the Philippines he is known as tsitsirika, in Vietnam as hoa hai dang, in China known as chang chun hua, in England as rose periwinkle, and in the Netherlands as soldaten bloem.

Plants come from Central America. Growing well starting from the lowlands to an altitude of 800 meters above sea level. characteristic of this plant is having a height of 0.2-1 meters. The leaves are oval shaped, green, arranged interlocking pinnate. The leaves are about 2-6 cm long, 1-3 cm wide, and the leaf stalks are very short. The stems and leaves contain white latex.

The axial flower (arises from the armpit of the leaf). Small flower petals, nail-shaped. Trumpet shaped flower crown, widened edges, white, blue, pink or purple depending on the cultivar. The fruit is gilig (cylindrical), sharp, hairy, about 1.5 - 2.5 cm long, and has many seeds.

Flowers and leaves have the potential to be a source of medicine for leukemia and Hodgkin's disease. Its chemical ingredients are vincristine, vinblastine, reserpine, ajmalicine, and serpentine. Other ingredients are catharanthine, leurosine, norharman, lochnerine, tetrahydroalstonine, vindoline, vindolinine, aquammine, vincamine, vinleurosin, and vinrosidin. These various alkaloids are poisonous. The signs of poisoning of this plant are fever, lackluster, and vomiting within 24 hours. Other signs are neuropathy, loss of tendon reflexes, hallucinations, coma and death.

Pseuderanthemum Reticulatum or called Japanese jasmine in Indonesia. Pseuderanthemum reticulatum also has another name namely Golden Pseuderanthemum, Yellow-vein Eranthemum, El dorado, Golden Eldorado. This plant is a family of Acanthaceae. The genus Pseuderanthemum comes from pseudes in Greek, which means 'fake', which is the name of a group of plants that are very closely related. 'Eranthemum', from erranos, which means 'beautiful', and anthemon, which means 'flower'; and reticulatum, which means 'clean', refers to venation like characteristic webs on leaves.

This plant has a small trunked tree shape. Japan Jasmine stem height is only about 1 to 2 meters. It is suitable when used to decorate a garden or yard. The leaves are facing each other and their growth is intermittent. Japanese Jasmine leaves are about 10-10 cm wide and can reach 15 cm long. The leaves are dark green or light green with a mixture of yellow, which has added to the impression of the beauty of this plant. Japanese Jasmine flowers are found in a round stem and about 20 cm in length. These flowers are located along the stems and docked at the ends. Eupatorium capillifolium (dogfennel) is a perennial herbaceous plant in North America in the sunflower family, native to the eastern and southern United States. These are generally between 50 cm and 2 meters long with a few forks from a substantial base. The stem and base are covered in leaves so they dissect that they resemble branched green threads coming out of the stem in a fractal pattern. When crushed, the leaves and flowers smell rather bad.

Dogfennel spreads through seeds and rootstock and can grow quite aggressively. This is common in grasslands, especially those that are not repaired or pastured too much, and reduce the quality of pasture by competing with the desired forage species. Dogfennels contain pyrrolizidine alkaloids which damage the liver, so cattle are known to eat all the grass around their stands. Ruellia Ungu (Ruellia Simplex) also known by another name Mexican Petunia is one of the flowering plant species of the family Acanthaceae, originating from Mexico, the Caribbean Islands, and South America.
This plant can grow up to 91 cm tall. Flower stalks gather to make a series with leaves in the form of lancet having a length of 15-30 cm and a width of 1,3 -1,9 cm. Ruellia purple trumpet-shaped flowers, metallic blue to purple, has a petal of 5 with a diameter of 7,6 cm in diameter.
These plants bloom from spring to winter, requiring a warm climate with well-drained soil. Propagation of plants can be through seeds or vegetatively by stem cuttings.
