Jet black TINY snake (size of an earth worm) with yellow ring around neck. Unfortunately, could not get a picture as I found it by almost stepping on it and it moved away. Found while going to bat survey:

Tiny, TINY, jet black snake about size of an earth worm with yellow ring around neck. Was basking in wild grass near/ on deer trail/ rugged foot trail, near bedrock and river.

Tiny (TINY) jet black snake about size of an earth worm with yellow ring around neck, basking in tall grass/ deer trail/ rugged foot path near river bedrock. Unfortunately could not get a picture as it was discovered by almost stepping on it.
