Along the trail.

Large groups of these monkeys roamed the streets and temples of Nepal.

Growing in dappled sunlight on the forest floor.

Medium-sized orange butterfly with shiny silver patches under wings. Flies swiftly.

A very tall tree that towered over me as I passed by it.

About an inch long.

A thick caterpillar about 2 inches long. It crawled extremely quickly, faster than I've ever seen a caterpillar go.

It flew by my backyard and deposited some of its eggs on my milkweed plants. It seemed a little worn out and faded, so it must've traveled far. (Or is just old.)

Flew inside my house.

Found after a rain. Under a log in the moist mud and leaves.

Sat out in the open for a long while.

In tall grass alongside a creek. I don't see these very often.

It had captured a bird and proceeded to pluck it of feathers. (Presumably to eat) It was fairly large.

I found on a vine in my backyard.

Quite a few floating on the Open Ocean.

One-Inch beetle whose shell shone iridescent rainbow under the light. Found it on a plant stem nearby a trail in Yosemite national park.

Flies quickly, with erratic movements.

The specimen here feeds on Passionvine of the 'Maypop' cultivar.

Live in groups feeding on trees.

There were large numbers of these caterpillars on what I believe to be Live Oak Trees.

I found it on a Lantana bush growing outside of my neighbor's house. It stuck around for a long time, as it sipped nectar from the flowers.
