This baby alligator was roughly a foot long and had a predominantly brown body with beige colored horizontal stripes on it. Alligators are reptiles which are carnivorous. The baby alligator had teeth and is a tetrapod due to its 4 legs. The body is scaly and consistent with the texture of most reptiles.

The alligator was found in a roughly one acre channel off of lake tibet in Windermere Florida. The habitat was full of green algae and was next to the shore line.

This is a dragonfly that is roughly 1.5 inches long. its wings have a stripe pattern. The wings are orange with dark brown horizontal stripes. The long abdomen distinguishes it from butterflies.

This dragonfly was found near a pond in Windermere Florida. The area was full of vegetation and the dragonfly was resting amongst leaves.

This dragonfly has a blue body with a white/blue face that is distinctive of the blue dasher. It also has a black tip near the end of its abdomen. The dragonfly roughly 1 -1.5 inches long.

The blue dasher is distributed all across the Unites States. They love to be around bodies of water and can be found near lakes. This blue dasher was found near a pond in Windermere Florida. It was near plants and flying amongst other dragonflies and resting on vegetation.

This lichen is a light green forest green color. It covers a majority of the tree bark and forms a thick layer over the bark. This lichen is considered a foliose lichen. The lichen also has rounded lobes.

This lichen was found on a medium sized oak tree. The lichen covered the bark on the stump of the tree and formed a distinct green layer over the bark.

This lizard is roughly 4.5 inches long and is predominantly brown in color. This lizard also appears to be female as male lizards have a red/orange throat. There are some gray spots apparent on the lizard.

This lizard was found in a moist area by the lake water in Lake Tibet. There was adequate vegetation near the lizard and the lizard was hiding amongst the plants.

This long tail behind the lizard is a key characteristic of lizards.

This seedless vascular plant is an classifies as a fern and was found at Lettuce Lake Park in Tampa, FL. The fern was found amongst several other ferns and flowers with open exposure to sunlight. The soil looked to be moist. The weather at the time was roughly 80 degrees fahrenheit partly cloudy. This fern is native to Florida and found in moist areas such as swamps and marshes.

The fern was a foot tall and 2 feet wide. The fern leaves (fronds) are a dark green color and thin with malleability. Each individual leaf was divided and separate from one another. All of the leaves were roughly the same size and shape. Sori are present on the underside of the fronds. Sori are the reproductive structures that produced spores.

This seedless non-vascular plant classifies as a moss and was found at Lettuce Lake Park in Tampa, FL. The moss was found growing on a wooden log of a tree in the shade with partial exposure to sunlight. The soil looked to be moist. The weather at the time was roughly 80 degrees fahrenheit partly cloudy.

The moss covered the two log and was approximately 2 feet in width and 4 inches in length. Roughly 1.5cm in height with tiny hair like projections. The moss has a dark green color with brown spots. These brown spots are sporophytes and produces spores which serve as reproductive structures for the moss. Rhizoids are used to attach to the wooden logs.

This Bass bass's upper jaw extends beyond the rear edge of the eye. The color of the fish is primarily olive green. The gradient of the color ranges from silver to olive green to dark black. Roughly 9 inches long. Dorsal fins are sharp to the touch.

This fish was caught in a roughly one acre cove that branches off from the main lake (lake Tibet). Lake Tibet is part of the Butler chain in Orlando Florida. This fish is a state freshwater fish found in lakes and rivers. They are found near vegetation and also in the middle of water bodies.

This bass is Chordata taxonomic group. This is physically apparent due to visible pharyngeal slits (gills) and bilateral symmetry.
