Long-legged Huntsman Spider (Heteropoda longipes)Observer
questagameDescription
Sighting and photos (c) angela_moncrieff.
Field Notes - A Huntsman spider found at night near a gap in my outdoor steps. I carefully took him inside for some photos, and then released him in the place i found him. Approx. 1.9cm body length. I think it could be a male of Heteropoda jugulans (or perhaps H. cervina) based on abdomen and thorax markings, size and other aspects of appearance, as well as location.
