A vital second population of this critically threatened dolomite-endemic species. Growing on the same exposed dolomite seam as the population at the type locality (in the process of being obliterated by a dolomite quarry) but this population is in the neighbouring kloof and hopefully safe from mining.

A major rediscovery after searching for it for several years. This was named Stobaea pinnatifida var. angustata in 1865, but then left unresolved in the last revision of Berkheya, but distinguishable from all similar spp. In specialised habitat: renosterbos-restioid fynbos on the western margin of a seasonal wetland, silty-sandy soil.
