Leaves and stems are hairy, with white-ish coloured hairs. Some plants are growing in 1-2 shoots, others have multiple. Opposite arrangement leaves. Leaves are deeply lobed with 3 lobes.

Description

5’ to 6’ tall. Stalk is woody when mature and about 1/2” to 3/4” thick. Leaves range in size from 1.5” to 6” in diameter and 1.5” to 6.5” in length.
Leaves feel a little rough on both sides. No hairs on stems, stalks or leaves.
It is growing along a wetland border and in the shade with only dappled sunlight.
