Rough observation. May have been the day before. I got a good look at this bird—though it was only the front. Distinct yellow under the wings and perhaps chest. Distinct yellow ring around its eye. Very small bird. Not a goldfinch. Mostly dark on the top and top of tail. I thought it might be a wren or something, but I’m far from knowledgeable about birds
