I enjoy and study nature in all forms- birds, reptiles, amphibians, plants, fungi, weather, rocks, and soils. Did I miss anything or anybody? I have formal education in plants (horticulture), soils and entomology. I have particular interest in non insect invertebrates- millipedes, centipedes, arachnids, springtails etc.

Most of my observations will be plants because they make themselves evident to me and stay still long enough to be photographed.

I camp a lot because that puts me out in nature where I want to be.
